This past week, I went on a road trip up to New York from Maryland with some friends and I had a great time. There were many things that we got to see along the way but I want to talk about my stop at Atlantic city. This was my first time in AC and I was excited.
When we got there, my first experience was Texas Holdem at the Taj Mahal. This was great. I had a great time just sitting 
there with all the other card players. Just the idea of playing at the Taj was exciting for me, let alone winning 300 dollars from these tables. As stupid as it might sounds, there was a point where I was looking around for people who were famous. I mean, it would be pretty sweet if I could say to my friends, I saw Johnny Chan at the Taj!
Actually, my first night, I lost $260.00. It was the next day when I decided to play again when I won 560. So I was up 300.00 playing Hold em. Then shortly after I took at shot at the roulette. This was pretty nerve recking because I was sitting next to a guy who was putting down 500+ each bet and here I am putting down my 20 dollar bets. But in the end, I was up 160 from the roulette tables. After a while, I got a feeling of the game and I think I would have won more, but my friends were nagging me to leave so that we could continue with our trip.
